Founded in 2013, Workato enables business and IT teams to integrate their apps and automate business workflows without compromising security and governance. Workato needed to provide its customers with a methodology to explore automation possibilities and provide an actionable blueprint for the development and execution of enterprise-wide automation strategies.

APQC interviewed Bharath Yadla, Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Workato, about how the company used APQC’s Process Classification Framework (PCF)® to build its Automation Impact methodology for driving enterprise-wide automation. Yadla helped Workato build internal capacity to meet growing demand and developed the organization’s Automation Impact methodology.
