For any organization, launching a knowledge management (KM) or process program is a big endeavor with lots of tough decisions to make. Fortunately, organizations don’t need to start completely from scratch when building these programs. APQC and others offer time-tested frameworks that can help organizations avoid common missteps and get their KM and process initiatives get up to speed quickly.

To learn more about the role of frameworks in KM and process program development, APQC interviewed Allison Wilkins, director of knowledge management at Prudential, CJ Nusom, associate director of business process management at Pratt & Whitney, and Jose Castro, head of continuous improvement at CMI. This article is summary of that interview.
