The Future of Finance Talent: Enabling a Future-Focused Talent Management Strategy

The finance function is evolving in many organizations as finance leaders look to add higher-value services to their traditional focus on administration and compliance. With this shift, many organizations are recognizing the need for a new type of finance professional.

APQC carried out the Future of Finance Talent study to better understand these macrotrends, the current needs of the finance function, and which talent management approaches organizations are using to meet these needs. This report summarizes APQC’s findings from the study’s survey as well as case study research and provides advice from HR and finance leaders who have developed successful approaches to finance talent management.
