The U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) is a nonprofit organization that develops scientific standards to help ensure the quality and safety of medicines, dietary supplements, and foods. To update its disconnected (KM) tools and resources, USP’s KM group used design thinking to explore grassroots knowledge-sharing solutions that had cropped up across the organization. In so doing, the group developed KM pilot projects, a KM brand, and a comprehensive KM strategy.
