Lynda Braksiek

Principal Research Lead, Knowledge Management

In her role as Principal Research Lead, Knowledge Management, Lynda Braksiek develops and executes APQC’s agenda for knowledge management research. As a past APQC member herself for 20 years, Lynda understands the challenges and needs members and organizations face daily and provides insights based on APQC research, information, data, and expertise. As a result of her obsession with knowledge management, Lynda truly understands and shares what works in knowledge management.

Lynda brings more than 20 years of experience to APQC leading and implementing knowledge management strategies and capabilities in the aerospace, pharmaceutical, and insurance industries. Her background resides in establishing and driving organizational change initiatives and frameworks, defining and delivering knowledge management and engagement strategies, and leading learning and development programs. Regardless of the initiative, Lynda believes the end goal is to improve business results through effective measures of success while concurrently enhancing company culture.

Prior to joining APQC, Lynda worked as associate director of knowledge management at Astellas Pharma U.S. and assistant vice president and director, Transformation Office, at UFG Insurance. At Collins Aerospace, she excelled in a variety of positions in her 19-year tenure including director, knowledge & change strategies and various leadership and individual roles driving knowledge management, learning and change management efforts in engineering, IT, and operations. 

As a leadership excellence enthusiast, Lynda coaches and mentors others. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from iPEC Coaching and a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. 

Lynda received her master’s degree in organizational leadership from St. Ambrose University and her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Mercy College, both in Iowa.
